During a sentimental trip on the shores of Italian Lakes, Paola Ferrario came to the realization that postcards are the ultimate form of photographic art: they are indexical, they circulate freely and they glorify mechanical reproduction. She founded FIP, a collaborative publishing project involving artists from around the world. Each project, a series of eight to twelve postcards, constitutes an affordable, small-edition portfolio centered on the particular practice of each artist, in whatever medium. Seeking to satisfy the human desire for the hand-held object while stretching the conceptual parameters of contemporary image-making, FIP rethinks what postcards can be today.

Since Paul Ryan has blocked his office phones and fax numbers, and is turning away people who show up to deliver petitions, time to change tactics.
Many have suggested to send postcards to his home.
So We have decided to produced a few postcards already printed with Ryan's Wisconsin address and sponsor a fund raiser for Planned Parenthood and ACLU.
Send me proof through e-mail that you have made a donation of at least $10 to the ACLU or Planned Parenthood and I will send you 3 cards.
